In their eagerness to stay one step ahead, Piedrafita Prognostics has developed a system to enable component traceability within vehicles.

In addition to the recording of vehicles and their associated components, as well as that of any maintenance or repairs operations, the system also enables the registration of physical parameters to which each vehicle, and therefore its components, are submitted. This provides valuable information, offering an insight into the real use of the vehicles and their components.

This state-of-the-art system, implemented by Piedrafita, has been able to digitalise the vehicle verification process and automate its operation in fleets of more than 500 vehicles, thus avoiding human errors in data collection.

A single tool, fully capable of auditing vehicles, vehicle components and vehicle users, at your fingertips using in-service tablets.

All this allows the generation of automated reports that combine traceability and identification information with immediate notifications and warnings.

Our system is capable of storing data collected by contactless reading from QR codes, barcodes, RFID and NFC technology, and its recognition and reconstruction using artificial intelligence (AI). In addition, it supports the reading and collection of component data via CAN bus in standardized protocols.
